Bihar PMS Online Form 2026 :- There is excellent news for students in Bihar who have passed their matriculation (Class 10) exams and are seeking financial assistance for further studies. If you have passed matriculation but lack the funds to continue your education, the government will provide financial aid under the Bihar Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme. The Bihar government has issued an online notification for this scholarship scheme for the 2026-27 academic year. Students belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Backward Classes (BC), and Extremely Backward Classes (EBC) can avail themselves of this benefit. Further important details are provided below.

Bihar Post Matric Scholarship 2026-27: Details :-

Under the “Scheme”, the portal is scheduled to be opened from 15.07.2026 for inviting online applications for the academic year 2026-27 through the PMS portal (https://scstpmsonline.bihar.gov.in for students of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe category, https://pmsonline.bihar.gov.in for students of Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class and https://instpmsonline.bihar.gov.in for the concerned educational institutions).

Bihar Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 2026-27 :-

Permanent resident of Bihar state.
The caste of the applicant should be under Backward Class (BC) / Extremely Backward Class (EBC) / Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST).
BC & EBC or SC & ST students whose annual income of parent/ guardian including own income does not exceed Rs.3,00,000/- only, will be eligible for scholarship under this scheme
The applicant must have passed 10th grade/matriculation and is pursuing 11th, 12th grade, diploma, ITI, graduation, or post-graduation.
