BTSC Pump Operator Education Qualification :-

Passed Matriculation (10th) from a recognized Board/equivalent institution.
Also passed Machinist or Fitter trade examination from a recognized Industrial Training Institute (ITI).

BTSC Pump Operator Written Competitive Exam Partten :-

The exam question paper will consist of 100 questions, all of which will be multiple-choice objective type.
The exam duration will be two hours.
The total marks for the exam will be 100.
The exam will include questions from the IT (Machinist/Fitter) and Matriculation/10th standard levels, including 30 questions from Machinist, 30 questions from Fitter, 20 questions from Mathematics (Matriculation BSEB level), and 20 questions from General Knowledge. The question paper will be in both Hindi and English.
The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts through a computer-based test. Due to the multiple shifts, the result will be prepared using normalization.
Negative marking will be applied for wrong answers. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 will be deducted for each wrong answer.
On the basis of the said examination, the score card of all the candidates will be published by adopting the process of normalization.
