Bihar Technical Services Commission (BTSC) has invited online applications for 2,809 vacancies for the Junior Engineer (JE) positions in Civil/Mechanical and Electrical. Candidates can fill the online form by visiting the official website. The form is available on the commission’s official website, www.btse.bihar.gov.in. The form will be available from Re-Open 22 January 2026 to 12 January 2026. Candidates are encouraged to fill the form.

BTSC JE Education Qualification :-

• Junior Engineer (JE) Civil :-
  • Diploma in the Civil Engineering discipline from a recognized Institute/University.
• Junior Engineer (JE) Mechanical :-
  • Diploma in the Mechanical Engineering discipline from a recognized Institute/University.
• Junior Engineer (JE) Electrical :-
  • Diploma in the Electrical Engineering discipline from a recognized Institute/University.

BTSC JE Written Competitive Exam Partten :-

Computer-Based Test (CBT)	75 marks
Maximum preference for working on contract basis as Junior Engineer or equivalent post (05 marks per working year with a maximum limit of 25 marks).	25 marks

• The exam question paper will consist of 100 questions, all of which will be multiple-choice objective type.
• The exam duration will be two hours.
• The total marks for the exam will be 100.
• The exam will be conducted in multiple shifts through a computer-based test. Due to the multiple shifts, the result will be prepared using normalization.
• Negative marking will be applied for wrong answers. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 will be deducted for each wrong answer.
• On the basis of the said examination, the score card of all the candidates will be published by adopting the process of normalization.
