भर्ती में सशस्त्र बलों तथा केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों में कम से कम 5 वर्ष की सेवा कर चुके पूर्व सैनिकों को अवसर दिया गया है। इसके अलावा हरियाणा स्टेट इंडस्ट्रियल सिक्योरिटी फोर्स (HSISF) तथा हरियाणा आर्म्ड पुलिस (HAP) के पूर्व कांस्टेबल भी पात्र हो सकते हैं। टेलीकम्युनिकेशन उपकरणों को संभालने का अनुभव रखने वाले उम्मीदवारों को चयन में प्राथमिकता दी जाएगी।

Haryana Police SPO Education Qualification :-
- 10+2 from a recognized board
- Applicant should be an ex-serviceman of the Armed Forces/CAPFs, or an ex-Constable of the disbanded HSISF/HAP Battalions.
- Candidates from the Armed Forces/CAPFs should have completed at least 5 years of service.
