The wait is over for candidates who were waiting for the Bihar Board practical exam date sheet. The Bihar School Examination Board has announced the practical exam dates for both Class 10th and 12th. The Intermediate (Class 12th) practical exams will be held from January 10th to January 20th, 2026, and the Matriculation (Class 10th) practical exams will be held from January 20th to January 22nd, 2026. Bihar Board 10th 12th Practical Exam 2026 :-
- Matriculation (10th) Practical Exam Pattern :-
- Science:
- Experiments: 10 marks
- Practical Notebook (Record Book): 05 marks
- Oral Examination (Viva-Voce): 05 marks
- Social Science:
- This does not involve direct laboratory experiments, but 20 marks are awarded based on project work and literacy activity (making 10 people literate).
- The teacher awards marks based on the project report and literacy certificate.
Intermediate (12th) Practical Exam Pattern :-
12th level, the practical examination is worth 30 marks. This applies to subjects such as Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Geography, Psychology, Home Science, and Music.
- Marks Distribution (30 marks):
- Major Experiment: 15 marks (Work performed in the lab).
- Practical Record/Notebook: 05 marks (Notebook prepared throughout the year).
- Viva Voce (Oral Examination): 05 to 10 marks (Questions asked by the examiner).
- Minor Experiment/Activity: In some subjects, 5 marks are also reserved for this.
