JTET 2026 Overview
JTET Education Qualification (Eligibility Criteria) :-
| Name | Qualification |
|---|---|
| Primary Level (Class 1 to 5) | Passed Senior Secondary (12th) with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Candidates with 45% marks in 12th are also eligible as per NCTE norms, candidates with Graduation + D.El.Ed or those who have completed a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) can also apply. Candidates with 12th + Diploma in Special Education are also eligible. |
| Upper Primary Level (Class 6 to 8) | candidates must have a Graduation degree along with D.El.Ed or B.Ed. Candidates who have completed 4-year integrated courses like BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed are also eligible. |
Exam Pattern
JTET 2026 will have two levels:

| First, click on the ‘Apply’ button provided below. A new page will open up before you. Here, click on the ‘Registration’ button located at the very top. Carefully fill in all the details requested for registration. Next, proceed to complete the registration process. You will then receive your User ID and Password via your mobile phone and email. Subsequently, you must carefully fill out the application form. Upload all the required documents and make the payment. Finally, take a printout of the application form on A4-sized paper. |
