The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has commenced the online application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027 (Undergraduate). The notification was released on August 2, 2026, and the application deadline is October 31. Qualifying for this exam allows students to secure admission into the 5-year integrated undergraduate law program at National Law Universities.

Applications are now open for the entrance exam for students aspiring to pursue law studies through CLAT. To gain admission to top National Law Universities, candidates must clear this entrance test. There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for the CLAT 2027 UG Programme.	—

CLAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria :-

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (or an equivalent) examination with a minimum General/Other Categories 45% marks & SC / ST / PWD – 40% marks.
• Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination in March/ April, 2027 are also eligible to apply.
