25 Day LPG Booking Rule :-
I would like to inform everyone that the ’25-day rule’ for booking gas cylinders primarily applies to consumers who possess more than one domestic LPG cylinder. According to current guidelines, a customer can book a second LPG cylinder only after a minimum of 25 days have elapsed since the previous booking. This rule helps balance cylinder supply and curb unnecessary demand. Residents of major metropolitan cities like Delhi and Mumbai generally fall into this category; consequently, if a customer attempts to book a second refill before the mandatory waiting period is over, the system may not accept the request. This rule has been implemented for this very reason.
30 Day LPG Booking Rule :-
Changes regarding LPG have been introduced, and we are providing the details here. If you are switching to Piped Natural Gas (PNG), please take note: under the revised LPG supply rules, customers who have obtained a PNG connection are required to surrender their existing LPG cylinder connection within 30 days. This rule has been implemented to prevent the simultaneous use of subsidized domestic gas connections and to ensure the efficient management of LPG resources.
Additionally, the government has introduced a convenient provision for customers. Consumers who surrender their LPG connection after switching to PNG can obtain a transfer voucher. This document enables them to reactivate their LPG connection in the future should they move to an area where PNG service is unavailable.
45 Day LPG Booking Rule :-
This rule regarding the ₹453 booking has been introduced for customers residing in rural areas across India. Under this policy, eligible rural customers can book a new LPG cylinder only after 45 days have elapsed since their previous booking. This extended interval has been established to cater to customers in remote settlements—such as those found in districts across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh—who typically fall into this category. Customers should verify their booking eligibility with the LPG distributor before proceeding to place an order.
